If you are new to Liberty Street C.O. G. (in your mailbox is a blue sheet with needed family information). Please place these in the secretary's mailbox. Also, if you do not have a mailbox, call Tammy @ 226 - 8672. You are important to us & we need to keep you updated on all activities.   Please let the Church Office know if you would like a copy of any of our Sunday morning sermons. We send to our shut-ins on a weekly basis.

We are offering a "Live Worship Telecast" in the Fellowship Hall to help accommodate the seating needs of our growing church!  Praise the Lord!  Anyone is welcome to check it out & share in this new Worship extension.   With video recording of the service in this way, we will also be able to improve our outreach to our shut-ins by giving them our worship on 

DVD.


Hey Church Family... We are having a PotLuck Supper @ Whitehall on August 2nd.  We will be on the top grounds @ the pavilion across from the Kid's Korner.  We have set the time for 4PM, so everyone will be able to stay for services.  Call if you have any questions 226 - 8672.


Crown Financial Ministries... A Biblical Financial Study - Ray Peltcs is willing to lead a study for those of you who are interested.  The cost is $45 a person or $55 per couple.  Anyone interested?  Please see Ray Peltcs.

Military Update:

We have now sent our fifth person packages! Diane Gross's niece. 

Thank you to all of you who have donated and prayed. We are in need of another address as I have supplies to send. You may e-mail Tracy Miller at tmhm72@yahoo.com, call at 814-223-4717, or place the address in my church mail box. 

We're having a booth @ Family Fun Day @ Campmeeting this year again.  If you are interested in donating cookies or brownies for the Campmeeting Fun Day on August 6th, please let Debbie Martin know.  We need your donations by Friday morning - August 5th.  This is a fundraiser for the Youth.  Contact Debbie @ 229 - 9671.

Sonshine Club - We're working on the schedule for Sonshine Club.  Please let Hayley know if you could teach or be a helper.  See Hayley on Sunday Mornings or email her @ hayleydj@windstream.net.

Gordon Mote Concert - Friday, July 15th @ 7PM - Oakland Church of God - 122 Kohlersburg Rd. in Distant, PA 16223  Tickets are $8 each - Call the church @ (814) 275 - 3626  Ext. 4 or write for tickets.  Send a check & self-addressed stamped envelope.


Picnic:  The 50 plus group will have a “Potluck” cookout on July 24^th.  This event will be held @ the Clarion County Park following morning services.  We plan to eat @ 1:00 pm.  Meat will be provided.  Please bring dish(s) to share and your own table service & beverages.  Please RSVP by July 20^th to the Glossers 226-9697.

REMINDER:     

Camp Meeting (WPA Family Camp Mtng) - July 30 thru Aug. 7 - Worship Leader: Rev. Dale Gruver.  If you have never been to Camp Meeting, you will not want to miss this opportunity.  Pastor Bruce & Pastor Jonathan will be @ Campmeeting all week.  If you need to get in touch w/them, please call their cell phones.  Tammy is also @ Campmeeting, but will be in on Tuesday & Thursday to check messages.  She also can be reached by calling her cell phone.  Cell phone numbers are listed in the back of the bulletin.

We Need Recipes for Camp Meeting

Will you help us put together a small no fuss cookbook full of No Fuss recipes to use during this years Camp Meeting @ Whitehall.  Please share your favorite camp recipe.  The contents will include:  Quick & Easy, Prepare Ahead, Crockpot, Pot Luck, Campfire, & Misc.  Any profit from the sale of the cookbooks will go to help finish the playgrounds @ Whitehall.  Deadline - July 10th.  Email Diane @ dstrout48@gmail.com or turn into the church office.  Please feel free to ask any friends to help with this worthwhile project!

NEEDED..   ½ Gallon cardboard containers (milk cartons, juice carton) for Camp Meeting crafts.  Debbie Martin is in charge of crafts for the kids at Camp Meeting.  Bring them to the church office or contact Debbie @ 764-5735.  Thank You!

Thank You Church Family.  We just sent 2 boxes to our fourth member of our mission!  Josh Kahle, Michele Aites’ nephew, is stationed in Japan.  Many goods, Bibles, Christian  Books, and a personal message was sent from our Church family. We have another soldier waiting for a box…Nancy Jeannerat’s nephew on the front line.  Please place any donation items in the box.

  

All Church Prayer Meeting (for everyone) starting Wednesday,  June 15^th @ 7:00pm         

DIVORCECARE ...... Open to All... Men & Women.  A new cycle will begin on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.  Class size is limited.  Please contact Jacqueline Morrone @ 226-4035  by June 7.  Cost $20.00  We will be meeting 6:00-7:45 p.m  (Sorry- no childcare available)

     

FATHER/ SON DINNER - Saturday, June 18^th @ 6:00 p.m @ Liberty Street Church of God.   Come & enjoy an evening of good food, fellowship and fun.  Remember, you can always adopt a Son or Dad for the evening.  Sign up at the Welcome Center.

Beginning next Sunday, June 5^th our Bible Study Group (that meets at 9 am during the Sunday School time) will start studying through the Book of Ruth.  We meet in the Prayer Room, which is beside the Library.  Anyone is welcome, from college age to their “Golden years”.  If any questions, call Beth Henry @ 797-5962.

Youth Rummage Sale - July 8 & 9.  We are still collecting items for the sale.


Strawberry Social @ the Trinity Point Church of God site.  Saturday, June 11^th @ 6:00 p.m.  Each family is to bring 1 pint of cleaned fresh strawberries. A rain date is set for June 12^th (same time).
