Bulletin Announcements - August 2011

If you are new to Liberty Street C.O. G. (in your mailbox is a blue sheet with needed family information). Please place these in the secretary's mailbox. Also, if you do not have a mailbox, call Tammy @ 226 - 8672. You are important to us & we need to keep you updated on all activities.   Please let the Church Office know if you would like a copy of any of our Sunday morning sermons. We send to our shut-ins on a weekly basis.

We are offering a "Live Worship Telecast" in the Fellowship Hall to help accommodate the seating needs of our growing church!  Praise the Lord!  Anyone is welcome to check it out & share in this new Worship extension.   With video recording of the service in this way, we will also be able to improve our outreach to our shut-ins by giving them our worship on 

DVD.

All future Praise Team rehearsals that are on the schedule have been 
cancelled!!


Ladies:  Baby Shower for Ame Pentz & son Luke Anderson

Crown Financial Ministries... A Biblical Financial Study - Ray Peltcs is willing to lead a study for those of you who are interested.  The cost is $45 a person or $55 per couple.  Anyone interested?  Please see Ray Peltcs.

Attention - All Committee Heads (Chair) - We will soon be having out Annual Business Meeting.  Please have your budget requests into the Church Office as soon as possible.  We want to have your input for your specific ministry.

Annual Business Meeting coming up on October 16th @ 7:30PM.

Youth - Selling hoagies - $3.50 each.  Delivery will be 9/9.  See a Youth today to take your orders.  Feel free to ask your family & friends.  We appreciate your help in this fundraiser!

Military Update:

We have now sent our fifth person packages! Diane Gross's niece.

I am happy to inform you all that we are doing well out here and we have had no serious injuries. We make great progress with the Afghany people and all is well. We have supplies to send and no addresses. Does anyone have an address of someone they know? These packages are more than just goodies and supplies; they are tangible evidence that people are praying, thinking, and actively taking a part in a very small part of their sacrifice.

"Prayer Trio Gathering" has been changed to August 20th from 10AM to 2:00PM.

Coming Up:  

Ladies Bible Study to begin on Sunday, Spetember 25th @ 6PM @ the church & run through October 30th.  We will be studying "Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire".

Combined Prayer Service w/the Brookville CofG on September 18th @ 6PM.  Make plans to attend; you won't want to miss this opportunity!


Hey Guys…  Week long Fishing Trip to Pymatuning  Lake September 19 - 23.  Interested???  See Ken Smith, Clyde Bish, or Pastor Jonathan for information.  We'll plan a meeting to discuss details.
